Atomic Essays is not my original word. I learned about them originally from being part of Ship30for30.

For me specifically the form is anything between 250-300 words usually shared on a social platform (I share mine on Twitter). So it's small, but also has in built shareability & feedback loops (unlike your website sometimes where you have to do a second step of distribution).
