I would totally opt in for personalised ad content. It’s much better than the crap that we used to get served before we got smart and started tracking and serving ads based on what we are actually interested in and searching for already.
BUT, I’m in marketing - so I’m a bit biased.
I see we are on a big pendulum swing at the moment. We swung way to to right and took a lot of privacy for granted - tracking EVERYTHING. Now we are restricting so many things and swinging the other way. And eventually consumers will realise that is not good either and we’ll come to a middle ground.
